Seventh-grade grand champion Austin Comer is congratulated by Citizens Bank site manager Ray Comer.

The Macon County 4-H organization began a poultry project for in March after receiving 12 Black Sex Link baby chickens.

The members cared for their chickens until the county show, which was held in conjunction with the Macon County Fair at the Steve Walker Livestock Barn.

There were 29 4-H members participating.
