WESTMORELAND -- The Red Boiling Springs Junior High boys basketball team suffered a 44-18 loss at Westmoreland on Monday evening.

The two teams played on the Bulldogs' home court on Oct. 29, with the Eagles rolling to a 37-12 victory.

In Monday's rematch, RBS struggled early on, producing just 2 points in the first quarter.

The Bulldogs trailed by 13 points after one period of play and by that same margin at halftime. The lead swelled to 20 points (32-12) entering the fourth quarter.

Westmoreland's Brycen Pardue scored eight of his game-high 15 points in the third period.

Chris Hackney and Colton Copas led RBS offensively with 6 and 5 points, respectively, followed by Riley Thompson (3 points), Caden Gregory (2) and Brandon Rojo (2).

Nine different players scored for the Eagles.

The Bulldogs fell to 2-12.
