HARTSVILLE -- The Red Boiling Springs High volleyball squad started strong but couldn't maintain that level of play in last Thursday evening's 15-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-19 loss at Trousdale County.

Lady Bulldog senior Chloe Kramer and junior Emma Rainey served up two aces each in the opening game, but the Lady Jackets took control from there.

Senior Allison Deckard led RBS with seven kills, five aces, four blocks and two digs.

Kramer and sophomore Liliana Hipolito had four kills each, and Kramer also had six aces and three blocks. Hipolito had three blocks as well.

Lady Bulldog sophomore Jasmine Pruitte served up nine aces, and junior setter Haley Davis finished with 34 assists.

RBS fell to 1-7 overall and to 1-6 in District 7-A play.

• The Lady Bulldogs suffered a 25-20, 25-20, 25-15 loss to visiting Watertown on Sept. 4.

Pruitte had three kills and two aces in that match, and Deckard produced two kills.

Junior Harlee Birdwell led the team with four aces and three blocks, and Rainey also served up two aces.
