Red Boiling Springs Junior High guard Bailey Massengille scored six of her 10 points in the fourth quarter of last Thursday evening’s 48-11 victory over visiting Trousdale County.

RED BOILING SPRINGS -- The Red Boiling Springs Junior High girls basketball squad built an early lead and gradually pulled away in last Thursday evening's 48-11 victory over visiting Jim B. Satterfield Middle School.

The Lady Bulldogs led 15-4 after one period of play, 30-9 at halftime and 48-9 entering the fourth quarter.

Leah Rich made four of Red Boiling Springs' six 3-pointers, accounting for all of her 12 points.

RBS point guard Claire Fleming scored 12 of her game-high 14 points in the first half, and teammate Bailey Massengille scored six of her 10 points in the third period.

Lady Bulldog center Graycee West provided six points, and Kennedy Marshall and Brianna Thompson contributed four and two points, respectively.

Libby Clark led Satterfield Middle offensively with six points.

RBS rolled to a 41-8 victory at Burks Elementary School on Monday evening.

The Lady Bulldogs built a 30-2 lead by halftime.

Fleming again scored 12 of her 14 points in the opening half, and Josie Green scored all 10 of her points before halftime.

The rest of the RBS scoring includes: Thompson 4 points, De'Awndria Polk 4, Chloe Powell 3, Marshall 2, Rich 2 and West 2.

The Lady Bulldogs won their fourth consecutive game, improving to 4-2.
