MT. JULIET -- The Macon County Junior High girls basketball team scored just two points in the third quarter of Monday evening's 41-21 loss at West Wilson Middle School.

The Tigerettes trailed 11-5 after one period of play and 16-9 at halftime.

No Macon County player scored more than two points in the first half.

However, Allie Thompson's basket accounted for the only Tigerette points in the third period.

Kensley Carter scored 5 of her game-high 10 points in the third quarter to help the Lady Wildcats pull away.

Nine different players scored for West Wilson.

Ellie Coley and Macey Meador led Macon County offensively with 6 and 5 points, followed by Thompson (3 points), Dallas Caldwell (3), Cadence Carter (2) and Karly Ramsey (2).

The Tigerettes fell to 5-4 with the loss.
