Betty's world for 42 years revolved around the Westside Elementary School, where everyone knew that without a doubt she loved the children. She was librarian until 1992, when the state of Tennessee changed some rules. Betty was always proud to have been the first librarian of Westside school. She then moved to the office and worked as school secretary until her retirement this year.
