Newly appointed MCHS head football coach Nathan Wilson addressed the Lafayette Rotary Club at their Wednesday meeting last week. Wilson spoke on his vision and excitement for creating a winning, productive and well rounded group of athletes over the coming years.

The Rotary club is a service organization devoted to various projects supporting the community-at-large, including Makin’ Macon Fit, the Macon County 3rd Graders Dictionary Initiative, Boy Scouts, the Macon County High School Interact Club and the Junior High Interact Club, as well as scholarships.

The Lafayette Rotary Club is also part of the larger organization of Rotary Club International, which is currently playing a major role in eradicating the dread disease polio on a global scale. For more information on your local club you can call president Barry Doss at 615-633-7490, or for Rotary International go to www.rotaryinternational.com.
