Recently, the MCJH 7th and 8th grade classes participated in an egg drop competition as part of a unit on technology and engineering. The students designed and constructed a container to protect an egg that was dropped off of the gym roof.

Rhonda Cothron stated, “We had a lot of help from a couple of local businesses during this project and we would like to publicly thank them. Cobb donated 300 eggs to be used in the activity and Alexander Funeral Home brought and set up a tent so we could have class outside in the shade. Without the support of our community this project would not have been possible.”
