The Palace holds Veterans Day Ceremony

Doug Weston, the Macon County Veterans Service Officer, began the ceremony with a prayer.

Ronnie Mowell, a Vietnam Veteran, also spoke at the ceremony, thanking his fellow veterans “for the things you did to make sure we can have an election and change of power, peacefully.”

Joe Reardon, who is also a Vietnam Veteran, read a poem at the ceremony.

Weston and Mowell ended the ceremony by giving the Palace’s veterans baseball caps donated by local banks.
