MCHS Cheerleaders hold fundraiser


Guests enjoy a nice steak sandwich supper last Saturday night hosted by the Macon County High School Cheerleaders. The guests enjoyed the supper and then enjoyed the sounds of local musicians Jeff Hudson, Mama Tried, and the Flat Rock Ramblers. The MCHS Cheerleaders held this event in an effort to raise funds for the cheerleaders to attend the upcoming national high school cheerleading championship that is being held at Walt Disney World in Florida.

These cheerleaders, (L to R) Haley Hauskins, Chelsea O’Hair, and Cecilia Cruz, werehaving a fun night while at their benefit ‘guarding’ the chips!

During the benefit, the cheerleaders also held a silent auction. Phillip Beasley writes his bid down in hopes of winning the item.
