On Wednesday, March 22, Students from Macon County and Red Boiling Springs high schools signed letters of intent to continue their vocational schooling at Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Hartsville. Seniors signed their letters for the program that they are currently enrolled in this year at TCAT.
The programs that the students were committing to continue in were: Administrative Office Technology program. AOT program is designed to develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to succeed as an office professional. Signing her letter of intent to continue her education in Administrative Office Technology is: Kindsey Michaela Holliman (MCHS).
The Automotive program is a SNAP-ON certification center and prepares students for their ASE certifications. Signing letters of intent to continue their education in Automotive Technology are: Dakota Cannamela (MCHS),Eric Scott Costner (MCHS),Tyler Crump(MCHS),Colton Dean(MCHS), Austin Dias(MCHS),Zachery Enos(MCHS),Mason Gammons (MCHS),Bailey Law(MCHS),Ryan McNare(MCHS),Christopher Petty(MCHS),Zachary Riddle(MCHS),Case Tuttle (MCHS),Bailey Walker (MCHS),William Chase White(MCHS).
Signing letters of intent for Computer Information Technology are: Jacob Clark (MCHS),Brandon Gregory(MCHS), Zachary Johns(MCHS) and Logan McDeid(MCHS).
Industrial Maintenance program – this program trains students in electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and mechatronics. Signing letters of intent for Industrial Maintenance are: Trevor East(MCHS),Chase Long (RBSHS),Hayden Manion(MCHS) and Danny Murray(MCHS).
Machine Tool Technology program. This program trains students in manual lathes and mills as well as Computer Numerical Control(CNC). It also provides training in die maintenance and quality control. Signing his letter of intent for Machine Tool Technology is: Dawson Brawner(MCHS) and Kason Tucker(MCHS).
The Practical Nursing program has standards set forth by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. This year long program consists of a combination of classroom and clinical experiences. Signing letters of intent for Practical Nursing are: Julissa Landaverde(MCHS),Brianna Mauss(MCHS), Tiffany Spivey(MCHS) and Mackenzie Young(RBSHS).
Welding Technology program – this program trains students as tack, gas tungsten, pipe and combination welders. Signing their letters of intent for Welding Technology are: Brayden Davis(MCHS), Andrew Eastman(MCHS), Austin Hickman (MCHS), Jaysen Kirby(MCHS) and Devin Slayton(MCHS).
