20th Annual Radio Auction to be held

Lafayette Lions and Lioness Lions Club will hold their 20th Annual Radio Auction, Monday, October 17th –Wednesday, October 19th from 6-10 PM. The auction raises funds that go directly to purchasing glasses and hearing aids for the vision and hearing impaired.

The Auction will be broadcast on radio station WLCT/WEEN 102.1 FM between 6:00 and 10:00 PM each evening. It will be broadcast live with dozens of volunteers and phone operators handy.

A list of a few of the items donated includes: a laptop, a security system from North Central Security, a recliner from D.T. McCall and Sons, gift certificates, a pie safe, an anorak chair, Ronald Birdwell’s homemade brittle and fudge, Tupperware, a 16 piece set of Corelle dinnerware, Costa camo sunglasses and case, Elf on the Shelf, a Weather Alert Radio, two fleece blanket throws, a Full-Tang hunting knife 8” blade, tanning lotions, and hair care supplies.

All items are donated by local merchants, and will be auctioned by number, so in order to bid, you will have to call Citizens Bank at 615-666-2195 to place your bid. All items donated by local merchants.
