Taylor Cox signed a Cross Country Scholarship to Campbellsville University on Friday, January 13, 2017.

Macon County Cross Country Coach Glen Gattis stated, “Four years ago when Taylor was a freshman she came and tried out for Cross Country…she was good, but the important thing for us was that she dedicated herself to Cross Country. She threw herself in 110% and got better every year. She was very competitive and did a very good job for us. It has been a real privilege working with her.”

Assistant Coach Brandon Mahaney commented, “We are extremely proud for Taylor. She will be a valuable asset to the program she is going to become a part of. I got to know Taylor her freshman year and worked with her in Cross Country and have been her track coach for the past two years and this is a testament to what a great athlete she is and all the hard work she has put into this sport.”

Hilary Lakes, Campbellsville University Head Cross Country Coach, said “We are really excited to have someone with Taylor’s athletics abilities to join our team. I think she will fit in well with the other girls on the team.”
