A new support group, sponsored by the Upper Cumberland Relative Caregiver Program, is being formed for parents whose children are being raised and cared for by other family members. Concord United Methodist 200th anniversary

Concord United Methodist Church in Allen County near Scottsville, Kentucky will celebrate their 200th anniversary with all day service Sunday, August 13. Worship service, at 11 a.m., will feature Gordon Meador & Wings of Faith and Rev. Carline Brown bringing the morning message. There will be a history of the church given, lunch at noon and gospel singing beginning around 1:30. Pastor Barbara Showmake invites everyone to attend.

RBS First Baptist Church to open preschool program

Red Boiling Springs First Baptist Church is opening new preschool program for children age 4+ who will be entering Kindergarten next year. Registration will be Monday, Aug. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. The times for the preschool will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. There will be no charge to attend.
