Funeral services for Dorothy Louise Barlow McLerran, age 80, of Celina, Tennessee, were conducted on Sunday, February 24, 2008 in the Chapel of Upton Funeral Home. Interment was in the Fitzgerald Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Andy Smith, Keith Rich, Eddie McMalerran, James Gray, Lecil Thompson, Charles Smith, and Billy Buck.

Dorothy Louise McLerran passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tennessee.

Dorothy Louise McLerran was born on November 22, 1927 in Celina, Tennessee to the late William and Martha Elizabeth Garrett Barlow. She was a homemaker and a member of the Celina Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by brothers, John Thompson, William Leon, and George Barlow.

Survivors include her husband, Everett Ray McLerran of Celina, Tennessee; daughters and son-in-law, Linda Gail and Larry Lee Smith of Celina, Tennessee and Kay McLerran of Nashville, Tennessee; sister, Ruby Estelle Neely of Kingsport, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren, Sabrina and Chris Conkin of Celina Tennessee and Andy and Brandie Smith of Celina, Tennessee; 2 great-grandchildren, Gus and Samuel Conkin; and several nieces and nephews.
