Hillous Eugene "Hot" Warner, 75, of Carr Branch Road, Lafayette, Tennessee, passed away Friday, April 8, 2005 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tennessee. The Macon County, Tennessee native was born Sunday, September 1, 1929, a son of the late John Taylor Warner and Jennie Ann Presley Warner, and was a retired farmer. He was the husband of Eula Frye Warner, who preceded him in death on December 14, 1991.

He is survived by 3 daughters and a son-in-law, Maie Warner, Red Boiling Springs, TN; Victoria and Jonathan Bray, Castalian Springs, TN; and Linda Harris, Indianapolis, IN; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Timmie Warner, Lafayette, TN; Jimmy and Ramona Warner, Bethpage, TN; his companion, Mattie Wright, of Lafayette, TN; 2 brothers, Jim Warner and Lewis Warner; 2 sisters, Emma Blackwell and Annie Andrews, all of Lafayette, TN; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by 3 sons, Larry, Norman, and Ricky Warner; a brother, Jessie Warner; a sister, Vick Wix; 3 half-brothers, John, William, and Jeff Warner; 2 half-sisters, Laura Warner and Mary Warner; and a grandson.

Funeral services for Hillous Eugene "Hot" Warner were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2005 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Eld. James Ray Lawson officiating. Burial was in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Cornwell, Jonathan Bray, Jeff Armour, Sonny Rednour, George Walters, and Wayne Warner.

Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN was in charge of arrangements.
