Funeral services were held Dec. 21, 2002, 10 a.m. at Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland, conducted by Bro. Larry Sloan & Bro. Raymond Adcock. Burial was in Eulia Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Stacye Harrison, Steve Huddleston, Phillip Harrison, Steve Byford, Rex Allen, Mike Harrison, Gary Adcock, Paul Freels. Honorary were Junior Gregory, Burford Gregory, Freddie Scruggs, Hillious Stone, Jerry Stone, and Gene Haskins.
He was born Jan. 29 , 1932 in Westmoreland, TN, a son of the late Wiseman and Gracie Meadors Harrison. He was married to Agnes Sloan Harrison, who survives. He worked in the TRC Dept. for the State of Tennessee; was a former Western Auto dealer; former Sunday County Commissioner for 24-1/2 years; former member of Sumner County School Board of Zoning Appeals; and member of Eulia General Baptist Church.
Survivors besides his wife includ a son, Larry (Carol) Harrison of Gallatin; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers, T.C. Harrison of Bethpage, Charles Harrison of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by four brothers: T.O., William Dean, Billy Ray and Cleamon Douglas Harrison.
