Jean Thomas Brockett, age 76, of the Russell Hill Community passed away Sunday morning, December 2, 2012 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services for Jean Brockett were conducted Wednesday afternoon, December 5, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Jack Honeycutt officiating. Interment followed in the Patterson Cemetery. Honorary pallbearer was Jefferson Collins. Her pallbearers were Justin Brockett, Matthew Brockett, Kaleb Collins, Joseph LeMonds, Joshua Lineberry and Austin Thomas.

Jean was born November 3, 1936 in Smith County, TN, the daughter of the late Bill and Joanna Jenkins Thomas. On November 4, 1955, she married Harry Brockett who preceded her in death on June 22, 2005. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Stephen Brockett. Jean was a homemaker and a member of Willette Church of Christ.

Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Deborah & Darrell Collins of Moss; sons & daughter-in-law, Jimmy Brockett of Red Boiling Springs, Ricky Brockett and Harold & Sherry Brockett, all of the Russell Hill Community; sister, Janet Morrow, of Brush Creek; brother and sister-in-law, Bill, Jr. & Sarah Thomas, of the Russell Hill Community, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
