Macon County General Hospital hosted its annual Diabetes Health Fair on Thursday, November 8. Running from 9 AM to 10 PM, the fair features vendors specializing in diabetes-related areas of expertise and assistance, and is scheduled yearly to coincide with American Diabetes Awareness Month. Speakers were Nurse Practictioner Janice York, and Sherry Hall of High Point Hospice. Attendees were served a soup and sandwich lunch from 11 to noon.
