Former MCHS Coach Gary Carter presented the 2012 MCHS Basketball Scholarship to Michaela Thompson.
Walking away with the big award of the night was senior Dallas Grace. Grace was named the 2012 MCHS Boys Most Valuable Player. He also received the commemorative plaque which showcased his senior year.
Brantley Russell also received a plaque commemorating his senior year.
Tyler Manning received two awards on the night. He received the Chamber of Commerce Award, as well as a plaque commemorating his senior year.
Dalton Shrum walked away with the most field goals made award.
Receiving the award for the most steals and the most improved player was Trey McPherson.
The MCHS Jr. Varsity team was recognized for their hard work and dedication.

Calamity Jane Coley took home the big award for the night as she was named Most Valuable Player (as well as best field goal percentage and most rebounds)
Also receiving the Coaches Award and the award for Hustle was Kelsey Gregory.
Receiving the Coaches Award was Katelyn Bean.
The Chamber of Commerce Award was given to Michaela Thompson.
Katie Reid was awarded with the best free throw percentage award and the Nera White Award.
Terra Pryor received the award for Best 3 point percentage and Most Improved Player.
Receiving the award for Most Steals and Most Assists was Kailyn Brooks.
The MCHS Cheerleaders were also present at the annual banquet. They were recognized as a valuable part of the basketball organization. The cheerleading team consists of: Front row (l-r): Lauren Pedigo, Allison Evetts, Brandy Blankenship and McKenzie Sullivan.

The Macon County Basketball teams held an end of the season banquet last Wednesday, April 18 at the MCHS cafeteria. The attendees enjoyed pizza, drinks and an array of homemade desserts. After everyone had plenty to eat the coaches handed out some well deserved awards. Girls Coach Jeff Beam and boys Coach Jason Welch expressed their gratitude to everyone involved that made their season such a success.
