Scott, 22, was arrested by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, the same day funeral arrangements were announced for Misty Scott.
Cody Scott was booked into the Barren County Correction Center at 12:03 p.m. on Friday, an intake sheet reveals.
Funeral services for Misty Scott, 20, will be at 3:30 p.m. on Monday in Glasgow at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Cody Scott has been charged with unlawful possession of meth precursor, first offense; manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; and known possession anhydrous amm o/app cont with intent to manufacture meth, first offense.
Cody Scott is 5-foot-11 and 120 pounds, according to his intake sheet.
The body of Misty Scott was found floating in a pond on Murray Lane in Macon County on Sunday afternoon.
Cody Scott discovered her body, authorities said. Scott was questioned but released.
Local and state investigators are yet to announce a cause of death for Misty Scott.
The state conducted an autopsy but preliminary results were inconclusive.
