A precursor of this game was all but to evident. The Bulldogs still did not have a full bench of players. Sickness once again plagued the Bulldogs. As if that wasn’t enough (with 2 players already out, one of them being a starter) Nick Deckard, a Bulldog starter, was hurt during the second quarter of play. Deckard came down after a foul and hit his head on the floor. He was taken out of the game with a possible concussion.
The dreadful start of the game followed the Bulldogs throughout all four quarters. They were outmatched by their opponent. During the first half of the game, the Bulldogs were only able to shoot 11 times (all from the two point line). They hit 4 of those shots. The rest of the Bulldogs 11 points came from the foul line. During the second half, the Bulldogs, surprisingly enough, shot 11 more times (4 times from the three point line). They hit 4 of the two point shots and 1 of the three point shots.
This was no match for their opponents who shot a total of 48 times hitting 20 of those. Once again, turnovers (the Bulldogs with 30 compared to their opponents 18) played a huge part in the outcome of this game. From the free throw line, the Bulldogs attempted 22 shots nailing 16.
