Scottsville woman killed in Highway 52 crash

A 90-year-old Scottsville, Ky. woman received fatal injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 52 on Sat., Apr. 7.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Ina Goad was pulling out of the parking lot at Coley’s Market on Highway 52 in a 1991 Chevy S10 pickup.

It appears she pulled out into the path of a 1969 Ford Fairlane driven by 69-year-old Jamie Witt of LaVergne, Tenn.

Her vehicle was struck in the driver’s side door.

Witt received injuries and was transported by Macon County Emergency Medical Services to Macon County General Hospital.

Funeral services for Goad were conducted on Tue., Apr. 10 at Goad Funeral Home in Scottsville, Ky. with interment following in Fountain Run Cemetery.
