City Recorder Annette Morgan reads the vows as Gann swears.
New Lafayette Chief of Police Stacey Gann was sworn in on November 19 at City Hall. Before a good audience of local citizens and a representation of the Macon Co. Sheriff Department and Lafayette Police Dept, Gann swore to uphold the law in the City of Lafayette.
Afterwards, when those present called for a speech, Gann simply said “Let’s get to work!”
