The 2013 KTPA Terry “Jackhammer” Driver Truck Pull, sponsored by the Lafayette Fire Department, was held on Saturday, May 11 after a rained out Friday.

This was the 9th annual pull, which funds a memorial scholarship administered by the Fire Dept. This year, it raised between $6,000-$8,000.

The top two distance pullers in each class listed as follows:

Non-Sanction 9300 Super Farm: 1st place Greg Freeze of Manchester, TN with Deere Trax (3331.2 ft); 2nd place John Pitt of Franklin, KY with Whoopie Maker (317.4 ft).

Pro-Stock 4WD: 1st place Jason Coomer of Columbia, KY with Top Gun (302.1 ft), 2nd place Michael White of Lafayette, TN with N 2 Deep (295.1 ft).

6000 LLS: 1st place Mitchell Coomer of Columbia, KY with Old Yeller (324.8 ft), 2nd place Andy Prewitt of Shelbyville, KY with Can’t Get Right (314 ft).

2.6 Diesel Trucks: 1st place David Pedigo of Glasgow, KY with GMC - Inferno (310.2 ft), 2nd place BJ Wix of Westmoreland, TN with Border Line (309.1 ft).

Non-Sanction 6000 Super Stock: 1st place Monica Shaw of Franklin, KY with Beauty and the Beast (307.1), 2nd place Mitchell Coomer of Columbia, KY with Old Yeller (284.3).

Pro-Stock 2 WD: 1st place Lyndell Bragg of Glasgow, KY with Dog Gone (305.6 ft), Jermey Shaw of Glasgow, KY with Ridin’ Dirty (304.2 ft).

3.0 Diesel: 1st place Andrew Sauer of Flemingsburg, KY with Justified (335.5 ft), 2nd place Tyson Dillard of Fountain Run, KY with Smokin’ II (334.1 ft).
