RBSJH host Carroll Oakland

On Monday, December 5th, the Red Boiling Springs Junior High basketball teams took on Carroll Oakland at home in Red Boiling Springs.

The ladies played the first game on Monday night. Hayley McCarter was the top scorer for the Bulldogs with three three-pointers and two free throws for a total of eleven points. McCarter had only one foul. Claire Fleming was next with nine total points coming from a three, two two-point shots, and two free throws. Fleming also had only one foul.

Mary Ellen Copas had two two-point shots during the game, totaling four points for the Bulldogs. Liz Anderson, Rhiannon Hix, and Iesha Smith each had two points on Monday night. Anderson and Hix each from a two-pointer and Smith from two free throws.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated Carroll Oakland, 30 to 20.

The boys were next to face off against Carroll Oakland on Monday night. Their top scorer was Cody Mea with six points, each from a two-pointer. Mea had two fouls. Keaton Comer had a two and was three for three with free throws, bringing in five points. Comer had three fouls.

Michael Mathews had four points on Monday night coming from two two-pointers. Darian Powell had a three and Kale Hooten had a two.

The Bulldogs lost to Carroll Oakland, 20 to 48.
