Lady Bulldogs gain two wins

On Tuesday, January 10th, the Red Boiling Springs High School Lady Bulldogs faced off against Goodpasture Christian in basketball.

Katie Heady was the top scorer for the Lady Dawgs during the game. Heady had three three-point shots for a total of nine points during the game. Cayley Tuck had eight points for the game, coming from three two-point shots and two free throws.

Hayley Davis had two two-point shots and was two for two in free throws, bringing in six points. Kennedy Fleming and Shaylee Ellingson had five points during the game. Fleming had two two-point shots and a free throw. Ellingson’s five came from a two and three free throws.

Maggie Isenburg had a two and two free throws for four points during the game. Macy Raines scored two for the Lady Dawgs.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated Goodpasture Christian, 39 to 35.

On Thursday, January 12th, the Red Boiling Springs High School Lady Bulldogs took on the Watertown Purple Tigers.

Heady was the top scorer again for the game with six two-point shots, five threes, and four free throws for a total of 31 points for the Lady Bulldogs. Davis was next with fifteen total points for the Dawgs coming from two twos, a three, and eight free throws.

Both Fleming and Ellingson each had seven points during the game. Fleming had a two-point shot, a three, and was two for two in free throws. Ellingson also had a three, as well four free throws.

Tuck had two two-point shots and a free throw, totaling five points for the Lady Dawgs. Briley Morgan had two free throws.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Purple Tigers, 67 to 40.
