RBS girls honored at district

Cayley Tuck, All Tournament team and District 8A MVP; Kennedy Fleming, All District Team; Shaylee Ellingson, All District Team; Maggie Isenberg, All Tournament Team; Hayley Davis, All District Team; Head Coach Dustin McKinney, District 8A Coach of the Year.


The Red Boiling Springs Lady Bulldog Basketball team represented their school well at the District 8A Tournament this past weekend.

Cayley Tuck was named All Tournament and District 8A MVP, Kennedy Fleming was named All District, Shaylee Ellingson was named All District, Maggie Isenberg was named All Tournament, and Hayley Davis was named All District. Head Coach Dustin McKinney was awarded the District 8A Coach of the Year award.

The Lady Bulldogs were undefeated in their district heading into the tournament, but fell to Watertown during the semi-final round. They went on to beat Trousdale County in the consolation round and took home Third Place. The girls will play Friday night in Clarkrange for the first round of the Regional Tournament.
