Jr. Tigers win against the Saints

The Macon County Junior Tigers played against the Dekalb County Saints last Tuesday, August 30. The Saints were unable to score against the Tigers. The Tigers won 28 to 0.

In the first quarter the Tigers scored two touchdowns. Cameron Houston scored the first touchdown and Ethan Jenkins scored the two point conversion. Skylar Haney rushed the ball 75 yards and scored the second touchdown, the two point conversion attempt was no good.

The Tigers scored a third touchdown in the second quarter. The first half ended with a score of 22 to 0.

No points were added to the scoreboard in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter the Tigers scored their fourth touchdown.

The final score was Tigers 28 to Dekalb 0. The Tigers will play in Fentress County on Thursday, September 8. Kickoff at 6:30 p.m.
