RBSHS falls to Cannon County

The RBS Bulldogs were prepared to take on the Cannon County Lions.


Bulldogs were fighting to gain on the Lions.


The Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs traveled to Cannon County last Friday, Sept. 9. The Bulldogs were unable to win against the Lions.

In the first quarter, the Bulldogs Elijah Byfield rushed the ball 37 yards for a touchdown and Justin Bergdorff made the extra point. Cannon County followed with their own touchdown and extra point. The score at the end of the first quarter was 7 to 7.

Cannon County then scored a field goal, 2 touchdowns and two extra points making the score at the first half RBS 7 to Cannon County 24.

Cannon County then scored a field goal in the third quarter.

Byfield scored their second touchdown and extra point in the fourth quarter. Cannon also added another touchdown to their score. The final score was RBS 14 to Cannon Co. 34.

The Bulldogs will play at home this Friday against Monterey. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.
