MCJH Tigers grounded the Owls

Tigers #21 makes the catch.


The Macon County Jr. High Tigers played against the Smith County Owls last Tuesday, September 13, 2016. The Tigers brought down the Owls with a final score of 28 to 6.

The Tigers dominated the game from the start. In the first half the Tigers scored three touchdowns with one good two point conversion. The score at the end of the first half was Tigers 20 to Owls 0.

The Owls were able to get on the scoreboard in the second half. Tiger Ethan Jenkins scored the Tigers fourth touchdown in the third quarter and the two point conversion was good. In the fourth quarter the Owls scored their only touchdown and failed at the two point conversion. The final score: Tigers 28 Owls 6.

The Tigers played at home against Trousdale County on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Stats unknown at press time.
