MCHS Volleyball goes to District

On Monday, September 26, the Tigerettes took on Pope John Paul II bringing home a win with scores of 25-22, 25-20, and 25-22. Stat leaders for this game were Sarah Carter with 8 kills, 14 digs, and 4 aces. Ragen Gregory also led with 4 aces. Gracie Andrews led with 8 blocks. Allie Dixon led with 48 sets.

On Tuesday, September 27, Macon County fell short to Livingston with scores of 25-27, 25-27, 27-25, and 25-27. Sara Hix led the team against Livingston with 3 aces and 45 digs. Sarah Carter led with 16 kills. Mattie Butler had 12 blocks. Allie Dixon had 100 sets. On Thursday, September 29, the Tigerettes took on Smith County for their Senior Night. They had a great game defeating the Owls with scores of 25-17, 25-15, and 25-11. Brooklyn Brawner led the team with 21 serves. Sarah Carter led with 19 kills and 37 digs. Gracie Andrews led with 7 blocks. Chelsea Avila led with 60 sets. The MCHS Volleyball team has finished their regular season play. The Tigerettes will begin the District 8AA Tournament on Monday, October 3, at Cannon County High School. Good luck at Districts!
