Bulldogs win Homecoming against Clinton Co

The Bulldogs take down Clinton County.


The Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs held their 2016 Homecoming last Friday, October 7 as they played against Clinton County.

Bulldog Elijah Byfield scored the first touchdown of the game with a 14 yard rush. Justin Bergdorff scored the touchdown with a three yard rush. The first quarter ended with the Bulldogs 12 to Clinton Co. 6.

Clinton County evened up the score in the second quarter by scoring their second touchdown. RBS was unable to score. The first half ended with a tie score of 12 to 12.

In the third quarter C.C. pulled ahead of the Bulldogs. Clinton County scored two touchdowns with two good two point runs. Bulldog Elijah Byfield rushed the ball 10 yards for the Bulldogs third touchdown. The quarter ended RBS 20 to C.C. 28.

Bulldog Hunter Kirk rushed the ball two yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter and scored a touchdown causing the game to go into overtime. Justin Bergdorff scored the winning touchdown of the game. Final score, RBS 34 to Clinton County 28.

The Bulldogs will have their Senior Night this Friday, Oct. 14, as they play against Clay County. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
