This year’s Grand Marshall was Macon County General Hospital CEO Dennis Wolford and his wife Margaret.


Many of the children enjoyed seeing the clowns in the parade, including this one who happily posed for a photo.


State Senator Mae Beavers waved to the crowd and tossed out candy.


Macon County Mayor Steve Jones also made an appearance in the parade.


Lafayette Mayor Richard Driver rode in one of the firetrucks, a favorite of most of the children.


Many Disney characters were present for the Christmas parade also, like Mary Poppins, Donald Duck, and Alice in Wonderland.


Even Mickey and Minnie Mouse were there waving to the crowd.


The Macon County Fair pageant winners had a float to themselves in the parade.


The Lafayette Marching Tigers played Christmas music and got the crowd pumped up for the big guy himself.


Santa Claus made an appearance in the Macon County Christmas Parade, waving to children and tossing out candy.
