MCAC holds Auction for the Arts


Macon County Arts Council held Auction for the Arts last Saturday, August 26. Former Macon County Arts Council President Nancy Doss, current President Evelyn White, and Auction for the Arts Chairwoman Kathy Eden take time from their busy night to smile for a photo.


Dinner was catered by Gibson’s Cafe. Miles Gibson served the drinks.


Jill Shrum placed her bid on a piece titled “Under the Sea.”


Anna Hix, Ali Hix, and Mia Smith enjoyed the food offered at the auction.


Ethan Swearengin, Josh Carter, and Barbra Swearengin also praised the food at the event.


Kinship provided the entertainment for the evening.


Greg White with Ben Bray Real Estate served as the auctioneer for the event while student volunteers showed off the auction items.
