A K-8 school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, St. Jean Vianney School, recently lost almost everything in the severe flooding that affected that area. They are in desperate need of school supplies for both students and teachers, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, and p.e. equipment. The students and faculity at MCHS are hoping to “Stuff the Bus” with donations to help this school. They have a school bus parked in front of Macon County High School; it will also be parked at the gate at this week’s home football game. They are asking for donations to fill the bus. Any donations may be dropped off at MCHS, or they may be brought to this week’s game against Pearl Cohn High School. They are also trying to help restock the school’s library with new or gently used books. Those may also be brought to MCHS or to the bus that will be parked at the football game. Their goal is to collect 1,000 books for St. Jean Vianney School.
