During the October Session of the Criminal Court in Macon County the Grand Jury handed down two indictments for one count of criminal homicide-felony 1st degree murder, and 1 count first degree murder – premeditated, in regards to the body of Michael Brandon Fye that was found on Shrum Hollow Road in Macon County.
Back in August, 2016, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was investigating a missing persons case in Trousdale County and had received information that the body of Michael Brandon Fye (DOB 11-3-75) was in Macon County. The body of Fye was recovered on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at approximately 2 p.m. on Shrum Hollow Road (near Union Camp Road) in Macon County.
During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information which led to Stephen Earl Sullivan (DOB 3-12-96) and Dylan C. Ferguson (DOB 11-16-96) as the individuals responsible for the crime.
The Grand Jurors of Macon County, duly empanelled and sworn upon their oath present that Stephen Earl Sullivan and Dylan Ferguson, on August 9, 2016 in Macon County, TN and before the finding of these indictments did unlawfully kill another person, to wit: Michael Brandon Fye, said killing committed in the perpetrating of or attempt to perpetrate any first degree murder, and did unlawfully and intentionally and with premeditation kill Michael Brandon Fye, in violation of Tennessee Code Annotated 39-13-202(a)(1), and against the peace and dignity of the State of Tennessee.
