Frances Langford, - age 79 of Celina will be held 12 p.m., Mon., June 20, at Upton Funeral Home with James Delk and Kenneth McClain officiating interment to follow in the McDonald Cemetery. Visitation 5 - 9 p.m. Sat., 8 – 9 a.m. Sun., and 8 -noon Monday at Upton Funeral Home Frances Langford passed away Fri.,, June 17, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Frances Pennington Langford was born Dec., 25, 1931 in Clay County, Tennessee to Carlos and Bessie (Lynn) Pennington. Frances Pennington married Cecil Langford Feb., 6, 1948. She was a retired employee from Osh-Kosh where she worked 40 years.

She is survived by husband, Cecil Langford; sons, Champ Langford of Celina and Cecil Junior Langford & Wife, Connie of Celina; Daughter, Kathy Langford Halfacre & Husband, Robert of Cookeville; Sisters, Evelyn Boles Hilham, Alpha Hall of Hilham, Altie Southerland of Hilham, Helen Westmoreland of Celina, Eva Nell Turner of Cookeville and Janie Suits of Indianapolis, Indiana; Six Grandchildren, Brad Halfacre, Edmond Langford, Nathan Langford, Allison Halfacre Stafford, Audrea Langford and Gretta Langford Krieg and 9 Great Grandchildren

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Bob, Baylus, and Aaron Pennington and Sister, Bertha McBride

Serving as pallbearers were Brad Halfacre, Nicholas Langford, Tyler Stafford, Larry king, Darryl Pennington and Wayne Rich
