Harold Wayne Deckard, age 61 of Adolphus, KY and formerly of Clay County, TN passed away, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at his residence in Allen Co., KY.

There were no services or visitation for Harold Wayne Deckard at the funeral home.

Harold was born Tuesday, January 3, 1950, one of five siblings born to the late John L. “J.L.” and Elsie Davis Deckard. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Edward Deckard and sister, Betty Kay Deckard. He was a sawmill worker and had a great love for the outdoors.

Survivors include: daughter, Allison Deckard of High Point, NC, sisters, Lois Pharris of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Brenda Deckard of Antioch, TN and 3 grandchildren.

Harold was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
