Of Westmoreland died Monday, August 15, 2011 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.
Funeral Services for Ms. Holmes will be held, Wed. August 17 @ 1PM from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Paul Knowles, Jim Hall, Jim Sprouse, Mike Kennedy, Steve Kennedy and Maxie Graves
Visitation will be: Tue. Aug. 16 from 4PM-8PM and Wed. Aug. 17th from 10AM - service time
She is survived by:
Son: George D. Holmes of Goodlettsville
Sister: Mary Alice Rogers of Westmoreland
Grandchildren: John Paul Holmes of Cookeville
Alice Sanders of Cleveland, TN
Niece: Jade Rogers Maberry of Carthage, TN
Great-Grandchildren: 7
She was preceded in death by:
Parents: Paul and Dona Miller Dotson
Husband: George Guthrie Holmes
INFORMATION ABOUT DECEASED: Ms. Holmes was retired from the Sumner County Board of Education as a teacher at Westmoreland Elementary School. She was a member of Westmoreland Church of Christ.
