The General Meeting for the Macon County Soccer League will be held on May 18, 2002, at the Macon County Soccer League fields. The meeting is scheduled to be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., with the main purpose of the meeting to be the election of members to the Macon County Soccer League Board of Directors.

Nomination forms were distributed at the beginning of the season for the offices coming up for election. The following candidates received the top 3 number of nominations in each category.

The following is a list of names which will appear on the ballot: (all candidates are listed alphabetically)

President - Phillip Baker, Rick Gann, Lloyd Schroeter

Registrar - Danny Lockhart, Toni Patterson, Troy Smith

Director of Coaches - Brad Garmon, Carolyn Smith, Mike Whittemore

Director of Referees - Barry King, Quinn Marlow, David Thomas

Director of Uniforms - Mike Bogle, Jamie Perrigo

The ballot will be available at the soccer fields on Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Please be sure to vote.

The individuals selected to be a part of the Macon County Board of Directors will serve for a 2 year term, beginning on June 1, 2002 and ending on May 31, 2004.

RESCHEDULED GAMES - The games which were canceled on May 4 due to weather conditions will be played on Saturday, June 1, at the previously scheduled times.

The tournament scheduled to be played on May 25 and 26, has been moved because of Memorial Day Weekend. The tournament is now scheduled for June 8 and 9. The schedule for this will be printed at a later date.
