Charles DeWayne Mosley, 48, of Lafayette,TN, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2002 at Comprehensive Care Center of Hartsville. The Macon County, TN native was born April 13, 1954, and was a carpenter.

Funeral services for Charles DeWayne Mosley were conducted Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002, 2 p.m. at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Steve Peeler and Frank Fox officiating. Burial was in the Anderson Memorial Park. Active pallbearers were Clifton York, Freddy Bandy, Harold Miller, Anthony Guffie, Christopher Sexton, and Steven Claywell. Honorary pallbearers were David Matthews, Albert Overstreet, Doug Matthews, Danny Joe Stafford, John Johns, Harold Crawford, John Pedigo, and Curtis Roysden.

He is survived by his mother, Daisy A. Mosley of Lafayette, TN; a son, Charlie Copas, Scottsville, KY; a grandson; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Curtis Roysden, Lebanon, TN, Teresa and John Johns, Vickie and Harold Crawford, Linda and John Pedigo, all of Lafayette, Debra and Danny Joe Stafford of Hartsville, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Grady Willard Mosley on Dec. 1, 1986.
