Mr. Homer Lewis Tucker, age 76, of Alexander Lane, Bethpage passed away October 15, 2002 at Gallatin Health Care. The funeral took place Friday, October 18 at Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Graves officiating. Burial is in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Grandsons served as the active pallbearers.

A retired carpenter, Homer Tucker was born in Sumner County on February 14, 1926 to Willie Tucker and Gracie Slayton who precede him in death. He was married to the late Tebecca Troutt Tucker.

Survivors include son: Tony (Kathy) Tucker of Westmoreland; daughters: Susan (Robert) Presley of Gallatin, Vickie (Billy) Kemp of Bethpage; step-daughters: Debbie Perry (Tony Lewis), Gayla (Steve) Gregory, Donna (Jeff) Perry all of Bethpage; sister: DeLois Eller of Gallatin; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
