Basketball Seasons begin

Both Macon County High School and Red Boiling Springs High School are scheduled to get their 2002 - 2003 basketball seasons underway this week.

On Tuesday, RBSHS was scheduled to travel to Station Camp for the season opener.

On Friday, the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs are scheduled to host Montessori Academy in their home opener. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., for the girls' game, with the boys' game to follow.

Next Tuesday, RBSHS is set to take to the road again as they head to Friendship Christian.

The Tigerettes and Tigers are scheduled to begin play this Friday night at home against Trousdale County. This game is expected to be postponed since Trousdale County has a number of players still involved in football and the Yellow Jackets advancing to the next round of play-offs. The game is expected to be rescheduled.

On Saturday, November 23, the Tigerettes and Tigers will head to Hendersonville for a game. The tip-off in this game is set for 6 p.m.

The MCHS teams will then head to Smith County on November 25 for their next scheduled game. Tip-off in this game is set for 6:30 p.m.
