Lafayette Little League will hold their sign-ups for the 2003 season on Monday, February 10.

Registration will be held in the Fairlane Elementary School cafeteria from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

The registration fee for Little League this year is $30.

Lafayette Little League includes the following divisions:

Tee-ball for ages 5 & 6

Coach Pitch for ages 7 &8

Minor League for ages 8-12 and Little League for ages 9 - 12.

Little league is open to boys and girls age 5 - 12. Players must have reached age 5 before August 1, 2003, and must not have reached age 13 before August 1, 2003.

ALL NEW PLAYERS must bring a copy of their birth certificate.

Anyone wishing to coach or be an assistant coach MUST attend sign-ups to complete the necessary paperwork. If it is not filled out on the day of sign-ups, then individuals may not get the opportunity to coach this year.

All players age 8 and up MUST participate in one of the two scheduled try-out dates. Try-outs are scheduled for Saturday, February 22, and Saturday, March 1. Tryouts will begin at 1 p.m. each day at the Lafayette Little League Park. A schedule for try-outs will be published in the Macon County Times when the dates get closer.
