Stephen Donque Parker, 53, of Lafayette, TN, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2003 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. The Macon County, TN native was a road designer for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, a former member of the Odd fellows Lodge and attended Meadorville Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Reba Taylor Parker, of Lafayette; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Donque Parker, on June 12, 1999.

Funeral services for Stephen Donque Parker were conducted Sunday, July 20, 2003, 2:00 p.m. at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Elder Dewayne Hall officiating. Burial was in Macon County Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Jimmy Glover, Ronald Watson, Melvin Watson, Stanley Massey, Ricky Keene, Larry Taylor, Danny Taylor and Dennie Parker. Honorary pallbearers were Sammy Parker, Gene Golden, Frank Golden, Johnny Golden, Burgin Glover and employees of the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN, was in charge of arrangements.
