Johnnie Parker, 78, of the New Bethel Community, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tennessee. The Macon County, Tennessee native was born Sunday, March 7, 1926 a son of the late Elbert Leon Parker and Lorene Herald Parker. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II, and was a farmer.

He is survived by an aunt, Mabel Hayes, Cadiz, Kentucky; and several cousins.

Funeral services for Johnnie Parker were conducted at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, March 28, 2004 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Eld. Barry Miller officiating. Burial was in Haysville Cemetery. Pallbearers were J. J. Hayes, Barry Parker, Terry Parker, Bennie Herald, Thurman Casteel, Junior Brawner, Anthony Parker, and Justin Parker.

Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette, Tennessee was in charge of arrangements.
