Funeral services for Alma Lee Barton, age 76, of Castalian Springs, were conducted on Friday, July 9, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Anderson & Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin with Elder Dean Dyer officiating. Interment followed in the Sumner Memorial Gardens.

Alma Lee Barton passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Sumner Regional Medical Center.

A native of Macon County, Tennesee, she was the duaghter of the late Charlie and Beecie Hudson Lee. She was married to Loyd G. Barton on June 15, 1946, who preceded her in death on December 29, 2000. Besides her husband and parents, her brothers, Delmas Ray, Comer, Homer "Shorty", Gayle, and Willard Lee and sisters, Velma York and Flora Halliburton, preceded her in death.

She is survived by: daughter Pamela (Ken) Davis, Gallatin, TN; 2 grandchildren; sister, Jean Russell, Red Boiling Springs, TN; brother, Charles Lee, Ohio.

She worked several years at Dupont, was a homemaker, and a member of the Madison Heights Baptist Church.
