Edward Gordon Davis, 78, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and formerly of the Difficult Community, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2004 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Huddleston Davis, daughter, Donna Davis, and granddaughter, Kim Bohannon.

He is survived by daughters, Linda Bohannon and Sherry (Wayne) Sinks; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Donna Davis, Hendersonville, TN; adopted grandson, Brian (Kim) Davis, sisters, Ann Young and Virginia Davis, both of Lafayette, TN; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Edward Gordon Davis were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2004 at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Hall officiating. Interment was in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Keith Hagan, Dr. James Jones and the Walking Angels at Alive Hospice. Active pallbearers were Wayne Sinks, Robbie Sinks, Danny Farrar, Leonard Young, David Young, Mike Young, and Tim Roberts.
