Funeral services for Olen Ray "Jim" Rush, age 71, of Whitleyville, TN, were conducted Sunday, August 29, 2004, 2 p.m. from the chapel of Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with E.C. Meadows officiating. His family and friends served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Olen Ray "Jim" Rush passed away Friday morning, August 27, 2004 at Mabry Health Care & Rehab Center in Gainesboro.

A native of Clay County, TN, he was the son of the late Howard and Vassie Gravins Rush. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence & Jobie Rush. He was an employee of the Continental Steel in Indianapolis, IN with 30 years of service.

Survivors include sisters, Maudie Clinton, Moss, TN, Flossie Clinton, KoKomo, IN; brother, Truman Rush, Hermitage Springs Community; several nieces & nephews.
